Derek Ketner is Creative Manager at J&Z Strategies.

 

Since joining our team, Derek has been heavily involved in media production, creating direct mail and digital advertising for our clients. In addition to his role with production, Derek assists clients with their day-to-day operations, while also supporting our team members on a variety of projects.

 

Derek cut his political teeth in Montana, working to elect Democrats in one of the more difficult parts of the country. Prior to joining J&Z Strategies, Derek served as Interim Director & Deputy Director for the Montana Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee (MDLCC) where he helped flip five red to blue seats. Prior to working for MDLCC, her served as Campaign Manager for Melissa Romano for Superintendent of Public Instruction, and Deputy Political Director on the Rob Quist for Congress special election. In addition, Derek has helped launch gubernatorial and congressional campaigns. Prior to moving to Montana, Derek started his political career in Colorado as a Field Organizer, helping elect Democrats to the state legislature.

 

Derek grew up in the foothills near Yosemite National Park and is a graduate from Colorado State University. In his spare time, Derek likes to spend time with his family, go on road trips, and watch the LA Rams.
